Kingswood Habitat Restoration Press Release
As part of a multi-year effort, Deerfield Township is partnering with Ohio River Foundation (ORF) to encourage native plant growth and protect existing native plants populations in the township’s popular Kingswood Park. In 2021 ORF and community volunteers teamed up to remove a total of 32K invasive plants from the park—and the team plans to continue to build on that momentum this year.

Sonder Brewing Grand Opening on October 27th
New brewery brings craft beer to Deerfield Township
Deerfield Township – Sonder Brewing will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, October 27th at 10:00 A.M. A ribbon cutting for the event will be held shortly before opening at 9:45 A.M.
“We are very excited to see Sonder open for business,” said Jim Flick, Economic Development Director for Deerfield Township. “The craft brewery industry has been thriving over the years and Sonder will put Deerfield on the map as a destination for people throughout the region.”
The Sonder Brewing facility is located at 8584 Duke Boulevard. The $6.5 million, 15,200 square-foot building will hold a 30-barrel brew house with American-made equipment and will feature a 2,000 square-foot tap room with spacious bar area as well as open areas with seating for larger groups, an outdoor patio area, and a large family-friendly lawn area. The Sonder team plans to brew high quality craft beer and offer a menu of locally sourced food items from its partner, BrewRiver Gastropub.
Application for Appointment to the Deerfield Regional Stormwater Board
Deerfield Township is looking for residents interested in serving as a Trustee on the Deerfield Regional Storm Water District Board. Individuals who would like to be considered should file an application with the Township by January 5, 2018.
Duke Blvd Closure to be Extended to November 14

Lebanon, Ohio – Deerfield Township – Duke Boulevard will remain closed an additional one (1) day, 0.34-miles north of Irwin-Simpson Road, with work being completed Tuesday, November 14th, by 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Pinnacle Lane at Bethany Road to be closed Permanently in Deerfield Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Deerfield Township – The Warren County Engineer’s Office will be closing Pinnacle Lane at Bethany Road permanently, effective Monday, November 20, 2017. Access to Bethany Road and Pinnacle Lane will be from the newly constructed Hudson Hills Lane and Isleworth Lane. Alternative access roadways available for use are Cherry Brook Lane, Heritage Point Drive, and Roberts Park Drive.
