Reports To:       Public Works Director

 

Salary:             $17.89 per hour-new hire/no CDL 

 

                        $20.39 per hour- new hire with CDL  

 

                        $2.50 increase at year 1 if requirements are met

 

Deerfield Township has an immediate need for a “Service Department Crew Member” in the Service Department. The Service Crew Member is responsible for providing a high level of unskilled and semi-skilled functions of the Service Department including maintenance, construction, and upkeep of Township roads, parks and related grounds and facilities.  Must be 18 years or older to apply. FT, non-exempt; with an excellent benefits package.

 

Qualifications: Valid Class B CDL preferred; w/any combination or training and work experience which indicates evidences of knowledge of prior experience. Education requirements-Equivalent to high school diploma.

Community Improvement Corporation Board (Volunteer Position)

The Deerfield Township Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) is accepting applications to serve as a member of the CIC Board. Interested residents or employees of businesses located within the township who wish to serve are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and should submit an Application for Appointment, resume and letter stating why they wish to volunteer on the board. The open positions are for three year terms.   

The CIC was created by the Deerfield Township Board of Trustees to manage economic development activities. Its purpose is advancing, encouraging, and promoting the industrial, economic, commercial, and civic development of a community.

The CIC Board is comprised of seven board members. The Board meets on an as needed basis. Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Board has meet virtually, however, meetings traditionally take place in the Deerfield Township Trustee Meeting Room, 4900 Parkway Drive, Suite 180, Mason, Ohio 45040.
